Prayer
Santa Muerte Prayer for Health
The Santa Muerte prayer for health is said for yourself or for a loved one who is ill. Faith walks alongside, but it does not replace medical care: ask for health and also seek professional help.
Santa Muerte Prayer for Health
Most Holy Death, today I come to you for the health of [name].
You who walk beside the sick,
do not take them before their time.
Give them relief from pain, rest at night
and the strength to keep up with their treatment.
Guide the hands of the doctors and of those who care for them.
And to me, who stays by their side, give patience and hope.
I offer you this candle and my prayer with all my heart.
So be it.
When to say the Santa Muerte prayer for health
It can be said at the bedside of the sick person or in front of the altar. Some devotees use a white or amber candle; each tradition has its own custom.
You can say it just once or for several days in a row. If your request is a big one, many devotees pair it with the Santa Muerte novena.
